Haden Bryant and Trevor Rumbelow combined to go 4-for-4 to lead Bullard to a 10-0 win over Gladewater Tuesday night.
The District 16-3A affair was played at Panther Field in Bullard and went official after the home team plated their final run in the sixth inning.
Rumbelow was 2 for 3 at the plate with five RBI’s, and scored one run.
Also hitting safely for the Panthers was, Holden Bryant, Jacob Provencher, Jesse Duplechin, Cody Goode and Weston Gray.
Holden Bryant also walked three times and swiped three bases. Duplechin received two free passes and, likewise stole a trio of bases.
Britt Thomas picked up the win on the mound and hurled scoreless ball for five innings, sitting seven down on strikes, with no walks. Cody Goode came on to pitch the final two Bear at-bats and didn't allow a hit.
Bullard (17-5, 7-1 16-3A) travels to Chapel Hill at 7 p.m. tonight.
