Parish Episcopal runs past Brook Hill, 35-14

BULLARD —

Parish Episcopal's Xavier Suggs scored three touchdowns Friday night to lead the Panthers to a  35-14 win over the Brook Hill Guard at Herrington Stadium.

 

The game was close in the first quarter, as both defensive units held strong, but Parish scored 28 unanswered point in the second and third quarters to put the Guard away.

 

Suggs accounted for 156 yards on the ground and had 76 yards in receptions, including a 56 yarder from quarterback Tom Stewart.

 

The Panthers had two rushers over 100 yards. Suggs had 153 yards and Dominic Williams had 104.

 

Gabe Lucio was held under 100 yards (93) against the Panther Defense, led by Linebacker William LeMasters (8 Tackles, int).

 

Grant Hanks managed to throw two scoring strikes to Seth Brasher and Lucio, but it wasn't enough.

 

Defensively, Malik Alley had a big game for the Guard again, recording 7 tackles.
