TREVOR RUMBELOW – Baseball, Football, Powerlifting
Trevor Rumbelow has been baseball playing since before he could walk, and he has got a college route covered if the pros don’t get him first.
A heavy recruit by many, but the leaders were Hardin-Simmons and TLU for baseball, and Austin College and Southwestern University in Georgetown, football offers.
Rumbelow stuck with his family-rich baseball tradition and loves the Bulldogs outlook.
“I loved the program, Rumbelow started on his next school. “They are traditionally very good and compete very well.”
In his four year baseball stint, Rumbelow has manned third base, first base, pitcher, primarily at catcher, and even some outfield as a frosh.
“I loved Coach Burnett, he was a great guy and I knew that I would fit in very well,” Rumbelow said about his talks as a catcher. “It was also a great location for me and the school is very nice.
Rumbelow like the other signees Friday was a part of transition.
“The new coaches taught me a lot in the aspect of how the game should be played,” said the three-sport all-star. “They fit in here at Bullard and I thank God for them every day.
“If it were not for some of the coaches I have now and in the past, I would not be sitting here today signing to play in college.”
