COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Texas A&M baseball Aggies, which include Brook Hill freshmen A. J. Minter and J. B. Moss, have been selected to play in their seventh-consecutive NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

A&M will be the No. 2 seed in the Corvallis (Oregon) Regional, where they will open up against No. 3 seed University California Santa Barbara in Friday's opening day action (time to be announced).

On Saturday the Aggies will take on either host Oregon State, the regional's top seed, or Texas San Antonio, who is seeded fourth.

Texas A&M (32-27) has never played UCSB.

The winner of the Corvallis Regional will advance to face the winner of the Manhattan (Kansas) Regional in a Super regional. Kansas State, Arkansas, Wichita State and Bryant University are competing in that regional.

Minter has been used effectively as a situational relief pitcher this season while Moss, who is an outfielder, has primarily been used as a pinch runner as of late.

The regional will be played in a double elimination format.
