Jacksonville Soccer Association (JSA) teams did extremely well at the Tomato Fest 4 X 4 Tournament, which took place Saturday at the Tomato Bowl in jacksonville.
And while Jacksonville teams finished in the top four in almost every age bracket, the JSA's true show of force and power came out in the Coed U6 division where all of the top four clubs were local teams.
The JSA Pumas went 3-1 and scored 32 points to nip the JSA Jacksonville Riot, who came in second with 31 points.
Jacksonville America and JSA Jeventus both went 1-1-2 and logged 14 points to finished tied for second, with the JSA Lil' Chivas (0-4) coming in fourth.
In the Women s U18 category, Jacksonville Maiden Soccer Tweak went 2-0-1- and ended up with 20 points to finish in second place.
JHS Chicas Barcelona (1-0-2) took third with 12 points and finished in front of JHS Lady Falcons (0-0-3).
In the girls U14 division, the Jacksonville Intensity racked up 23 and a 2-2-0 record to take top honors.
Jacksonville Justice League (1-0-2) came in third to conclude with 12 points.
Teams from the city came in third and nailed down nine points the same bracket the Jacksonville Riot Barcelona took fourth with one point.
In boys 10U play, three Jacksonville teams rose to the top of the standings, where the JSA Bombers (3-0) narrowly outpointed Jacksonville Soccer Club America (27).
Three points behind Club America were the Jacksonville SA Legends.
Two local teams had success in the girls U10 where the Jacksonville SA Lady Legends went 0-1-2 to come in third in the team standings
And finally, the Jacksonville SA Arsenal came in second in boy’s U12.
