NSHS Hornets whip Wildcats, 75-57

NEW SUMMERFIELD —

New Summerfield placed four men in double figures as the Hornets coasted past Mount Enterprise, 75-57, at Hornet Gymnasium Tuesday evening.

The win kept the Hornets (7-1 in District 21-A-I) a game behind league-leading Alto — these two clubs are scheduled to battle in Alto Friday night.

Francisco Parra put in 20 points, which included six triples, to spark New Summerfield, with Wendl Thomas scoring 17.

Angel Marroquin and William Ramsey pitched in 15 and 13 points, respectively.

Rebound leaders for the Hornets were Case Wilkerson (10), Ramsey (8) and Marroquin (6).

Thomas tossed in seven assists to go along with five blocked shots.
