Wins over Cleveland and Diboll on Saturday enabled the Alto Lady Jacket softball team to move to 3-1 on the year.
The victories, a 13-0 blanking of Cleveland and a 7-4 conquest over Diboll, came on the closing day of the Lufkin Hudson Tournament.
Alto scored nine runs in the first three innings in the win over Cleveland.
Alyssa Duplichain and Jakamri Green lashed two-run doubles in the second inning for the Lady Jackets while Vanessa Salgado and Alexa Russo picked up RBI-singles in the same inning.
Duplichain amassed four RBI in the game.
Alto pitcher Madison Crisp tossed a one hitter at Cleveland. She walked two and struck out eight in working four innings.
Russo tossed in a triple in the third stanza, which drove in a run for the winners.
Then, in the sixth inning Duplichain ripped a two-run single to power Alto in the late going.

A five-run fourth gave the Lady Jackets the lead for good.
Crisp added an RBI single in the game and Kynzie Germany sacrificed a run home.
Alto will entertain Grapeland at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Lady Jackets' home opener.
