NEW DIANA —
Brook Hill jumped out to a large-early in cruising past host New Diana, 62-47, Saturday to win the championship of the New Diana Tournament.
The Guard (3-0) led 21-11 after the first stanza and took a 36-23 edge into the locker room at intermission.
Brook Hill had three players to finish in double figures.
Alex Hale led the way with 19 points, followed by Grant Hanks with 16 and Phillip Kitt who tossed in 15.
Kitt had the hot hand from afar draining four 3-pointers, for head coach Wally Dawkins' squad.
Rounding out the scoring for the Guardsmen were, Jake Anderson with five, Bryant Robinson who chipped in with four, Josh Heingartner (2) and Malik Alley (1).
