The Lady Guard of Bullard improved to 2-0 in TAPPS 4-3A action by dispatching McKinney Christian, 16-1, at Schawb Field on Tuesday afternoon.
Brook Hill sent six runners home in the first and third innings while plating two in the second and fourth frames.
The game was called after four innings due to the 10-run rule.
The Lady Mustangs pushed their solo run across in the final segment.
Taylor Schultz struck out five and got credit for the complete-game pitching win for Brook Hill.
Desarae Rowan and Ari Assad had two hits apiece as a part of a nine-hit Lady Guard attack.
Hope Cooper drove in three runs and Assad had 2 RBI for the winners.
Brook Hill will not play again until April 11 when the Lady Guard wrap up the first round of district play by hosting Dallas First Baptist at 4:30 p.m.
That will be the Lady Guard's last home game of the season.
