BULLARD —  Golfers form Jacksonville High School were a part of a 22-team field that took part in the Brook Hill Invitational on Monday at Emerald Bay.

JHS head coach Cecil Newton stated that the Tribe finished “in the middle of the pack” on a day when the wind was blowing hard and the greens played fast.

Cameron Brown was low man for the Tribe, coming in at 87.

Next was Robert Moberly (91) and Cade Cessna (93).

Completing the order of finish for JHS was Cash Cleaver, who carded a 105, and Josh Ambroson, who tallied a 115.

Next up is The Challenge at the Woods, the Indians' own tourney, which is slated for Feb. 28.

Newton said that he expects a dozen boys teams and 11 girls outfits to be in attendance, which totals to about 175 golfers.

“We will be playing on our home course, so I'm expecting some low scores,” Newton said. “This will be a great opportunity for our community to come out and see some great golf.”
