The Orioles were scheduled to have launched their voyage Monday night by playing the Hillsboro Blackhawks.

The tourney will crown a champion on Friday evening.

In 8U machine pitch, the Rusk Rangers will join 14 other teams in Brownwood for the state showdown.

Rusk was slated to have played the Brownwood Giants on Monday night.

In 14U play, the Rusk Express are at Wallace Park in Hillsboro this week for their state tourney.

Rusk drew an opening-round bye and will play either the BMC Bears or Troy Flex at 4 p.m. this afternoon in the double-elimination event.
