Troup quarterback Blake Lynch is a wanted man.
Not the kind of wanted that would land one a photo on the wall of the nearest post office, but one that could secure the Troup Tiger quarterback an all expense paid journey at one of the nation's top universities.
Lynch released information on his Twitter account Monday night that stated that the No. 3-ranked Tigers of Clemson were the latest Division I school to have offered him a scholarship upon his graduation from Troup in the spring of 2015.
Clemson has a strong East Texas connection, given the fact that the Tigers' offensive coordinator is Chad Morris, who is from Edgewood.
Morris, who many consider to be a football genius of sort, coached Austin-Lake Travis to back-to-back undefeated seasons and state championships in the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
Clemson was the fourth major college to have offered Lynch.
Late last week the Nebraska Cornhuskers extended an offer to Lynch, who now has four Division I schools who are hot after his services.
Prior to the start of the season Lynch had received offers from both Mississippi State of the SEC and Baylor from the Big XII.
Lynch is coached by Dennis Alexander at Troup. Alexander is the fourth winningest coach in the state.
The Tigers (2-1) host arch-rival Arp at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Editor's Note: Another day, another D-I offer as Lynch received an offer from Texas Christian University on Tuesday night...He now has five D-I offers all total.
