Spring Hill stuns Brook Hill, 35-14

The Brook Hill Guard fought to the end, but fell short Friday night, losing to the Panthers of Spring Hill. It was scoreless in the first quarter and Brook Hill was only down one point at the start of the second half, but sheer numbers and size eventually wore down the Guard. Things look promising for the future though, as Brook Hill continued to display their dynamic air attack. Junior Quarterback Grant Hanks had two scoring strikes; a 26 yard pass to sophomore Alex Hale, and a 53 yard bomb to Junior Chase McDermott. Senior Quarterback Zac Wilson managed the second half of the game well. Defensively, Malik Alley led the guard, recording seven tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble.

Nick McKee had 207 yards on 29 carries for Spring Hill, scoring three touchdowns. Michael Spurrier Returned a punt and an interception for two scores against the Guard. Spring Hill's offensive line paved the way for almost 300 yards of total offense.
