SHREVEPORT, La. —
Gary “Chuckie” Roberson Jr., a former Jacksonville Jaguar from Natchitoches, La. has made the training camp roster of the Shreveport-Bossier City Mavericks, a first-year American Basketball Association franchise that will be playing its home games at Hirsch Coliseum on the Louisiana State Fairgrounds adjacent to Independence Stadium.

Roberson was an honorable mention all-conference pick at JC and served as a team captain.
Roberson was coached by Jody Bailey while at JC.
