JMS tennis team thumps Whitehouse, 27-10

WHITEHOUSE —





In a combined effort, the Jacksonville Middle School tennis team steamrolled Whitehouse, 27-10, Tuesday in Whitehouse.



Highlighting the win for JMS was the 8th-graders who went 20-8 on the day.



JMS picked up five victories in 8th-grade boys doubles where the the teams of Seth Bonner & Abraham Silva, Mason Hendrix & Nathanial Crawford and Josh Moore & Luke Williams posted wins.



Other winners included Esgar Mena & Andres SIlva and Ivan Servin & Crawford.

Alonso Lopez, Mena, Hendrix, Crawford, Williams and Moore also earned points for singles wins.



In 8th-grade girls doubles, Hannah Roper & Daniell Maiquez, Alyssa Luther & Makayla Medley, Dariana Cervantes & Venessa Gonzalez and Jacqueline Posada & Maiquez were all successful in downing their respective opponents from Whitehouse.



JMS earned five points in 8th-grade girls singles where Roper, Cervantes, Maiquez, Medley and Posada all posted wins.



Tomas Brewer won his 7th-grade singles match, as did Angelica Alvarez, Noelia Rangel and Xiearrah Powell.



Alvarez & Rangel also teamed up to garner JMS the victory in 7th-grade girls doubles.
