The Jacksonville College men’s tennis team shot up three spots to No. 13 in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association junior college poll, which was released on Thursday.
The ranking is the team’s highest in the two-year history of the program.
ASA College is ranked at the top of the poll, followed by Region XIV members, Laredo Community College and Tyler Junior College. Seminole (Okla.) State is fourth and Collin College (Plano) is fifth.
Temple College, at No. 14, is the only only Texas school in the ranking.
The Lady Jaguars dropped a couple of spots and are now ranked No. 25. Tyler is No. 1, followed by Georgia Perimeter College, ASA College, St. Petersburg (Fla.) College and State College of Florida.
