Racking up three RBI and two runs scored for the Tribe (7-16-1, 2-6 16-4A), Holcomb triggered a six-run third stanza for Jacksonville, with the Indians scoring the remained of their runs in the fifth frame.
A Braden Horn double, that drove in two runs sparked the Tribe outburst in the fifth.
Mason Smith went 2 for 4 at the plate and earned the complete game (5 inning) win on the mound for the Tribe.
Smith gave up five hits, struck out seven and didn't walk a batter.
Other key contributors for Jacksonville were Mike Sexton, Guadalupe Muniz and Jacob Tucker who plated twice each.
Kendall Holmes had two singles to lead the Lions at the plate.
John Tyler fell to 2-19, 0-8 following the loss.
