CHICAGO —

Jacksonville's Josh McCown will be leading the Chicago Bears into a Monday Night Football (7:30 p.m., ESPN) meeting against the Dallas Cowboys this evening.

The game will take place at what promises to be a frigid Soldier Field in Chicago. Temperature at kick off is predicted to be about 17 degrees with a west wind of nearly 20 miles per hour howling through the facility as well.

Dallas comes into the game at 7-5 and has won its last two games, while the Bears (6-6) have been tripped up in each of their last two outings, despite stellar play by quarterback McCown, who has been filling in for the injured Jay Cutler for the past month.

The 34-year-old McCown has a QBR of 78.4, which is second best in the NFL. McCown's forte this season has been the long pass, which he has completed nearly 52-percent of the time.

Twelve of his 15 deep-ball completions have been made to Bear wide receivers Brandon Marshall or Alshon Jeffery.

Dallas will have to be able to keep the Bears' long game in check in order to win for the third-consecutive week.

For Chicago defensively, the Bears will have to be able to contain Dallas' punishing inside attack.

Chicago is third-worst in the NFL in stopping the run, which could give the Cowboys an edge in this one.

Chicago is scheduled to retire the No. 89 of former Bear great Mike Ditka at halftime of tonight's contest.
