TYLER — For the second time this season the Jacksonville Fight'n Indians manhandled Brownsboro with the Tribe clubbing the Bears, 81-36, Saturday in the TABO Scholarship Classic, which was played at Herrington-Patriot Center at University of Texas-Tyler.
Datavian Thacker torched the twine for 21 points to pace the Tribe while Claude Franklin added 16.
Mason McCormick also wound up in double figures, tossing in 10 points.
Brownsboro (0-3) was overmatched from the start, with Jacksonville (2-1) jumping out to a 19-6 advantage after one period of play.
The Indians led 41-18 at the break.
Completing the scoring for the Indians were, Raybon Riden with seven and Shawn Ragsdale and Jeremy McAnally who knocked down six each.
Other scorers included, Daytron Thompson (4), D. D.Hamilton (3), Jacolby Robinson (2), Charles Kendrick (2), Carter McCown (2) and Curtis Landon (2).
Coach Mark Alexander's gang will be back in Tyler Tuesday night, when they are scheduled to play Tyler Lee at 7:30 p.m.
