It can be said that the Troup Tigers have the Quitman Bulldogs' number.
After clobbering Quitman 41-0 last year, the Tigers administered another beat down on the Bulldogs Friday night when they strolled to a 40-16 victory at Bud Moody Stadium Friday night.
The game was nip and tuck for the first 12 minutes as the Tigers led by a modest 7-3 at the break.
Whatever words of encouragement Tiger head coach Dennis Alexander had for his troops at halftime must have work as the Tigers improved to 2-1 on the year after outscoring the Bulldogs (0-3) 33-13 in the second half.
The Tigers return home to play rival Arp next week.
