Crews and Walley had two RBI each and Reece Goldsberry added a pair of safeties as Rusk outhit Mexia, 11-5.
The Eagles also cashed in on nine Blackcat errors.
Things were nip and tuck early on before Rusk plated four men in both the fifth and seventh segments to pull away from the Blackcats.
Morgan Johnson got the start on the mound for Rusk and lasted four inning. Johnson struck out nine Mexia (8-15, 2-10 19-3A) batters during that stretch.
Goldsberry then entered the game and tossed the final-three frames to collect the win on the hill for the Red and Black.
The Eagles (16-13, 10-2) received a first-round bye in the upcoming state playoffs and will open play late next week in the Area round.
Rusk was slated to host Athens in a warm-up game last night (results not available as of press time).
