TAPPS 4-3A Boys Basketball: Brook Hill's Hanks named conference MVP

BULLARD — Brook Hill's Grant Hanks, a 6-foot sophomore forward, has been selected as the TAPPS 4-3A Most Valuable Player.

The all-district squad was recently released following a vote of the league's head coaches.

Freshman of the Year lauds went to the Guard's Alex Hale.

Other superlative winners included, Jalon Johnson (Richardson Canyon Creek), Offensive MVP and John Oliver, also from Canyon Creek, who was tabbed as the Defensive MVP.

Coach of the Year honors went to Dallas First Baptist's Noah Mitchell.

In addition to Hanks and Hale, Chase McDermott and Phillip Kitt were First Team choices.
