Mackenzie Fish and Ashley Searcy combined for 13 kills to help send Bullard to a 2-0 (25-19, 25-15) victory over Brownsboro on Saturday in the Brownsboro Tournament.
The win resulted in the Lady Panthers earning a fourth-place finish in the championship bracket of the event.
Fish swatted down eight kills and added seven digs while Searcy had five slams to go along with two aces and a block.
Katie Cole collected six digs and Kennedy Key pitched in a couple of service aces as Bullard ran its record to 16-7.
The Lady Panthers fell to Van in straight sets 16-25, 22-25 in the semi-finals.
In that match, Fish had six kills, nine digs and three back line gems. Searcy came up with seven kills and two blocks. Rachel Kelley and Mallory McCoy had eight and seven assists, respectively.
Tyler All-Saints then thumped the Lady Panthers 25-18, 25-17 in the third-place match.
Once again it was Fish who supplied much of the Lady Panthers' offensive spark.
The 5'8 outside hitter had five kills and nine digs in the match.
Searcy pitched in with two blocks and a pair of aces while Mallory McCoy amassed seven assists.
Bullard returns home Tuesday when the Lady Panthers are scheduled to entertain the Lady Tigers from Texarkana Texas high at 6 p.m. In Panther Gymnasium.
The Lady Tigers will enter the match after losing 2-0 to Greenwood, Ark. on Saturday.
