LINDALE —

Lindale's boys delivered like a Pizza Hut deliveryman in Tuesday's District 16-4A match against visiting Jacksonville, winning all of their points, which was enough to give Eagle tennis a 12-7 victory over the Tribe.

Lindale and Jacksonville are now tied for fourth place in the District 16-4A standing, both at 1-2. Jacksonville is 4-6-1 overall.

Highlighting things for the Tribe were the play of the Jacksonville girls.

In No. 2 singles, Kristie Savage survived the only three-set match in girls singles where she topped Raper 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.

Samantha Lee dominated Colliver in No. 3 singles, taking a 6-0, 6-1 decision.

Lorena Mireles edged McClarren, 9-7, to win JHS the point in No. 4 singles.

Shyia Magan had no trouble in securing a  6-3, 6-2 win over Johnson in No. 6 singles.

Jacksonville's Allison Singleton defeated McClelland, 8-2, in an exhibition match.

In girls doubles Day & Savage breezed by Santchi & McClarren 6-3, 6-4 while Lee & Mireles destroyed Raper & Coliver 6-3, 6-1.

Participating for Tribe tennis on the boy's side were Christian Roper, Bryan De La Rosa, Israel Garcia, Dylan Perry, Juan Martinez, Bradley Smith and Andres Ferretiz.
