JACKSONVILLE —

The Jacksonville High School athletic department will continue its battle, appropriately entitled, “On the warpath against cancer” — once again this fall.

The school will be hosting at least two “Pink Out” nights, one on Oct. 25 when the Fight'n Maiden volleyball team plays its last home match of the season against the John Tyler Lady Lions and another during girl's basketball season (date to be announced).

The JISD Athletic Department is currently taking orders for this year's special “Pink Out” T-shirt, which can be worn on “Pink Out” nights.

The shirts cost $12.00 each (add $3.00 for 3XL and 4XL sizes), with all of the proceeds from the T-shirt sales going directly to the American Cancer Society as the Tribe help the organization to continue to push forward for a cure.

The T-shirt will be hot pink with royal blue and athletic gold lettering and graphics.

Order forms are available at all JISD schools, or may be picked up at the Fieldhouse during business hours.

Deadline to order will be Oct. 9, with the shirts delivered beginning on Oct. 21.
