The Troup Tigers, under the guidance of first-year head coach Jody Sorey, have opened District 18-2A play by going 4-0 — 12-9 for the season.
On Tuesday the Tigers humbled Hawkins 77-58 for their latest league win.
Richard Lacy tossed in 19 points and had five assists to ignite the Tigers.
Bradley Stewart and Blake Lynch also turned in sparkling efforts, pouring in 15 points and snatching down nine rebounds for the Tigers.
On the fourth day of the new year, Troup tuned up for the balance of its league encounters by slamming arch-rival Arp, 75-47, in a game that took place in Arp.
Shaq Rollins and Lacy scored 13 points each, with Rollins pulling down eight rebounds, followed by Lacy with a half dozen.
Lynch and Wesley Thompson each scored nine points and racked up six rebounds.
Also popping in nine was Anfernee Ross.
Troup participated in the Martin's Mill Tournament Dec. 27-29.
The Tigers posted wins over Yantis (57-37) and North Hopkins (52-40) while losing to Tatum (55-51), Poolville (62-54) and College Station (66-48).
In the Tigers' triumph over Yantis, Lynch led the way with 18 points and nine boards while Stewart tossed in a dozen points and Lacy added nine.
Hunter Clark's 22 points was a team high in the win over North Hopkins.
Clark also scored 13 points in the Tatum game, while Lynch poured in 11 points to go along with his eight rebounds.
In addition, Thompson and Rollins pumped in seven apiece.
Thompson was the top scorer in the Poolville game. He netted 14 points and came down with six rebounds.
Stewart's 21 points led the Tigers offensively against College Station
Troup returns home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for a league game against Winona.
