Several local prep basketball teams will be included in the mix of 21 schools that have opted to play in the 15th Annual Texas Association of Basketball Officials Classic which ends its two-day run at the UT-Tyler Herrington-Patriot Center today when six games are on the docket — Frankston (defeated All Saints, 52-49) and Bullard (score unavailable as of press time) were involved in games yesterday.

Head coach Brent Kelley's Jacksonville's Fight'n Indians will be looking to go to 2-0 on the year when they take on the Brownsboro Bears at 6 p.m. this evening.

Jacksonville opened the 2012-13 campaign last Friday by claiming a lopsided win over Longview's Lobos.

Kelley will have a full quiver of arrows for the first time this season, with the likes of Dadrian Franklin, Londedric Taylor, Kedarrius Buckingham and Ladarrius Session, former Indian football players, all expected to see extensive action against the Bears, who were scheduled to have opened their season yesterday against Whitehouse.

The Troup Tigers are also slated to take to the Tyler hardwood today.

The Tigers were scheduled to have played All Saints at 11:30 a.m.

At 7:30 p.m. tonight the classic will wrap up with a game between Tyler Lee and Lindale.

Jacksonville will return home Tuesday for its home opener.

Lufkin will provide the opposition with the varsity tip off to take place around 7:30 p.m. at the JHS Gymnasium.

The night will begin with a 5 p.m. freshman contest, followed by the junior varsity tilt.
