The times for the Friday through Sunday event range from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Friday and Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Johnston is VERY serious about sharing her craft with others. She has held quilting summer camps for children and has hosted a number of events promoting quilting as part of one charitable exercise or another.
Her Jacksonville shop opened its doors in January 2012.
Prior to that, the a retired Jacksonville Independent School District educator, had another shop in Bullard, “All Those Quilts,” which opened in November 2009.
If anyone is, indeed, QUILTY in this group, it is Johnston. Much like she did with her Bullard shop, this retired educator has become extremely well-known around Jacksonville as a passionate quilter.
Incidentally, the quilt show event motto on Johnston's webpage is, “Greatest Show on Earth! Not a circus – much better than that!”
