JACKSONVILLE — Area job-seekers visited the Jacksonville Goodwill store during a half-day job fair the site hosted Wednesday for openings at the local store as well as other East Texas stores. According to Goodwill human resource personnel Silvia King and Lynn Jannasch of the Tyler office, since the beginning of the year, such fairs have been held about every two weeks; the Jacksonville event attracted between 10 to 15 individuals late Wednesday morning. A variety of positions are available at East Texas Goodwill stores, and individuals may either apply in person or online at www.goodwilleasttexas.com, under “Career and counseling services.” An upcoming job fair is planned later this month at the Longview Goodwill store on Loop 281, the women said.
