Regional Amber Alert issued for missing 3-year-old

Shelby County, Texas —

A regional Amber Alert was issued Saturday for 3-year-old Ivan Alvarado, who was abducted from a residence in the Shelby County community of Tenaha.

According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, the boy was reportedly taken around 9 a.m. Saturday from the 1100 block of County Road 4249 in Tenaha.

He is described as being three feet tall with black hair and weighs 20 pounds.

Law enforcement officials said that Ivan, Viviana Alvarado, his 16-year-old sister and Paola Alvarado, Vivian's 1-year-old daughter, all disappeared from the residence and are “presumably together” according to the alert.

The suspect and missing child were last seen traveling in a newer-model Cadillac Escalade, black in color.
