An official with EZO Copper Products, LLC., confirmed Wednesday that the Jacksonville-based business will be closing their doors in late October or early November.
This closure will affect some 84 employees.
Cory Fowler, sales manager, said Wednesday that the company was still working on details and he would have more complete information in the upcoming days.
He had previously told the Daily Progress, during the last week of August, “We're going to have a reduction in work force by the end of the year, but that's it."
EZO Copper Products, LLC., fabricated copper and aluminum tubing parts and assemblies in the area for over 40 years, according to the company's website.
Angie Davis, listed as Human Resources and Safety Manager for the company, did not return a phone call on Wednesday.
