Local boy recovering from campfire accident in Dallas hospital

JACKSONVILLE — Jacob Sessions of Jacksonville was burned on 71 percent of his body on April 5 from a campfire accident. He is currently in Parkland ICU due to his injuries, according to a representative for the family.

Jacob has recieved four surgeries and thankfully all have been successful.  He will be in Dallas for several more weeks getting the care he needs.  There has been an outpouring of support and prayers for Jacob and his family and all have been truly amazing.  There will be several different events around the community to help with the additional costs his family will be dealing with.

On May 17, at ABC Auto there will be a Car Wash and Bake Sale with Jacobs baseball team.  There are also donation jars at the local Denny's and CJ's Convienance store, The Hot Spot, River Run and a few other stations in town.
