Increased water, sewer rate tops Bullard agenda

BULLARD — An increase in water and sewer rates

is slated for discussion during Bullard City Council's

meeting Tuesday, set for 6 p.m. at 114 S. Phillips.

This particular item also addresses discussing

I&S rates or “a combination thereof,” according to a

meeting agenda.

During the meeting, council members also will

discuss/act upon:

• Adoption of an ordinance authorizing and ordering

the issuance of City of Bullard, Texas,

Certificates of Obligation, Series 2014;

• Approval of a preliminary plat for Cherokee

Village, located adjacent to and east of South Doctor

M. Roper Pkwy;

• Approval of interlocal agreement with Smith

County for Boom Axe Services;

• Changing Order No. 1 to contract with Capps-

Capco Construction for Robert Walker Road Lift

Station in the amount of $9,850 for extension of 6"

sewer line to Dr. John Alexander's property;

• Approval of Pay Request No.3 from Capps-

Capco Construction for period June 1-June 30, 2014,

for Robert Walker Road Lift Station in the amount of

$36,143.03;

• Authorization of payment of Invoice 213831 to

Capco Engineering dated July 3, 2014, for $540 for

Mulilo Subdivision Review of drainage issues, letter;

• Authorization of payment of payment of Invoice

213832 to Capco Engineering dated July 3, 2014, for

$112.50 for Bullard Well Plant #7 review and revise

spreadsheet;

• Authorization of payment of Invoice 213833 to

Capco Engineering dated July 3, 2014, for $67.50 for

Panther crossing utility adjustments review of project

data;

• Discuss and act upon authorizing payment of

lnvoice 213834 to Capco Engineering dated July 3,

2014, for $202.50 for Robert Walker Lift Station

inspection of site to check status of various items;

and

• Approval of various staff reports.
