JACKSONVILLE — The City of Jacksonville will continue its summer mosquito spraying program just prior to dusk this next week.
Jacksonville officials remind residents to keep pets and children indoors during times of expected spraying. Adults are urged to take the same advice and limit their exposure to airborne mosquito spray. City employees will refrain from spraying if complications arise involving rain, evening temperatures below 55 degrees, and winds over 10 mph, reports show.
Areas being sprayed in Jacksonville include such such streets as:
• Adams, Akers, Alto, Andrews, Austin, Avalon, Beaumont, Bryan, Corinth, Deaton, Gus, Henderson, Heritage, Houston, Howard, Jacksonville Drive, Kelly, Marshall, Mary Jane, Mason, Meador, Palestine, Thomas, Timothy, Turney and Tyler.
• Adair, Anvil, Bealle, Bethune, Bruno, Crockett, Dacus Lane, Dennis, Dorothy, Dublin, Dunbar, Dustin, Elberta, Evergreen, Florence, Goodwin, Griffin, Heath, Indian Trail, Japonica, Jeanine, Jefferson, Johnson, Jowell, Looney, Memorial, Mesa Circle, Milton, North Bolton, North Gate, Otis, Progress, Quevado, Selman, Tucker, Williams and Woodside.
