BULLARD – Bullard ISD superintendent Todd Schneider has tendered his resignation to the Board of Trustees, effective Aug. 31.

In a release issued Thursday by the Bullard school district, Schneider said he was “blessed to lead the district for the past 4 and a half years, watching you love and teach our students daily.

“After 31 years in Texas public education, I am looking forward to serving this district as a parent and community member,” he said. “Thank you for all your support and dedication to the district during my tenure.”

The release noted that trustees will “begin planning the process and timeline in hiring the next superintendent on Monday,” Aug. 12.
