Dana Nolley Chancey is a Republican candidate running for Cherokee County Tax Assessor-Collector for the 2020 elections.
“My main reason for running is to have a Tax Assessor-Collector who has experience with the tax office and vehicle registration and knows the daily functions of the Tax Assessor-Collector offices,” she said.
“I currently work in the tax office and have for several years. I have experience in management and also I understand the daily functions of the tax office. I have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public to do what I can to assist them in whatever needs they have. I will work hard for Cherokee County Tax payers.
I will ensure excellent customer service for all tax customers in all tax offices. I am a graduate of Jacksonville High School and attended Tyler Junior College. I am a lifelong resident of Cherokee County,” she said.
“I have been married to my husband Greg for nine years. I am a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. I hope the tax payers of Cherokee County will allow me to represent them as their Tax Assessor-Collector.”
