RUSK – The Cherokee County Commissioners Court will implement its new meeting schedule, gathering at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Cherokee County Courthouse to discuss the following agenda items:

• Consider laying utility lines in each precinct;

• Consider adoption of resolutions of Violence Against Women Prosecution Project Grant No. 3351203 and Victims of Crime Act Project Grant No. 2897804;

• Consider request for a public hearing to set speed limit at 35 miles per hour on County Road 2303;

• Consider acceptance of JEDCO demolition projects for any or all precincts;

• Consider approval of the contract for elections services between Rusk ISD and Cherokee County for their May 4, 2019, special election;

• Consider approval of budget amendment for Road & Bridge Departments to reflect carryover from prior years;

• Consider acceptance of bids submitted for one or more precincts for scrap mental removal;

• Consider approval of a consent agenda, which includes approval of Commissioners' Court minutes, monthly reports from the county auditor, county treasurer and constable reports and racial profile reports from constables from Precinct 2 and Precinct 3, along with authorizing payment of bills, payroll and transfer of funds.
