Feb. 1 - 5

Evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, defective stop lamps, failure to signal a turn and failure to display a driver's license were reported in the 9000 block of U.S. Highway 79. Officers arrested a 27-year-old Frankston man for the offenses.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 1000 block of Columbia Avenue. The estimated cost of damage was between $100 and $750.

Burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault was reported in the 400 block of Myrtle Drive. Officers responded to the residence after a 911 hangup call. During the investigation, the victim was found to have active warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a promise to appear. An arrest was made.

Burglary of a vehicle was reported at Neon Country Club, 954 N. Jackson St. No further information was released.

Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of East Lincoln Street. The investigation is ongoing.

Burglary of a vehicle was reported at Sweet Union Apartments, 1011 N. Jackson St. No further information was released.

Theft was reported at Merle Norman Cosmetics, 105 E. Commerce St. The item(s) taken was valued between $100 and $750.
