Two fruit tree care clinics have been scheduled for Saturday in Cherokee County. The first will begin at 10 a.m. at Guinn Plant Farm located on U.S. 69 between Rusk and Jacksonville just north of the airport.

The second will begin at 1 p.m at the Courtyard Gardens at Joe Smith Plant Farm. It is located on U.S. 79 northeast of Jacksonville just past Cherokee Country Club.

Each clinic will last about two hours and gardeners are welcome to come and go any time during the sessions. Production of the dozen or so fruit crops commonly grown in East Texas will be discussed.

Extension programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, disability, or national origin. For more information, call Daniel at 903-683-5416.
