It’s back to school time. Get caught up on your immunizations at Cherokee County Health Department.

Most children entering pre-k or kindergarten and those entering high school will need immunizations. Check with your school district or Cherokee County Health Department with any questions.

Cherokee County Health Department will be holding two weeks of free shot clinics. The Jacksonville clinic will provide free shots July 24-27. Their hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. to noon and again 1 to 6 p.m.

The Rusk clinic will provide free shots August 7-10. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
