The Jacksonville chapter of the FFA at Jacksonville High School kicked off National FFA week by hosting a complimentary appreciation pancake breakfast for teachers, alumni and community supporters of the organization on Tuesday. The purpose of National FFA week is to promote and raise awareness about agriculture and the FFA organization.

Amanda Twedt, Jacksonville High School student and the Jacksonville FFA Chapter President said, “we are celebrating National FFA Week by giving back to our community and teachers for everything they have done for us.”

 To demonstrate their leadership and teamwork skills, JHS FFA students will be conducting Leadership Games for students on Wednesday and on Thursday, FFA Students will tour the district speaking to students at the elementary and intermediate campuses about the importance of agriculture and promoting the FFA program.
