“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (revised)” will be the first show of the 2018-2019 Season at Cherokee Civic Theatre this fall. Open auditions for the show – leads and chorus roles – will be held Sunday July 29 at 3 p.m. and Monday July 30 at 6 p.m.

Director Jessica House requests that auditionees prepare a song to be sung a capella (without accompaniment). Auditions will also include readings from the show script and movement activities so it is strongly recommended that sneakers, shoes or dance shoes be worn (no sandals or flipflops, please).

“There are seven lead roles (four male, two female and one can be either) as well as minor roles and chorus roles so we’re hoping a lot of folks want to come out and play,” noted Ms. House. “This is a great show for the young and and young-at-heart so please join our fun at auditions!”

Lead and minor roles are available for those 14-40 years of age and older and chorus roles are available for those 10 years and older. Those interested are invited to attend one or both of the auditions.
