CHEROKEE COUNTY – A Rusk woman remains in the Cherokee County Jail on bonds totaling $30,000 following an Oct. 30 narcotics search of a residence on FM 1248 in Rusk.
According to a release from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, officers from the county's Narcotic Division, accompanied by the Rusk Police Department, executed a narcotic search warrant signed by 369th District Court Judge Michael Davis.
“Upon executing the search warrant, three individuals were located and detained,” the report stated. “During the search of the residence, detectives located methamphetamine and items used in the distribution of methamphetamine.”
Bobbi Casper, 47, of Rusk, was charged with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was arraigned by Cherokee County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Brenda Dominy.
