Alto debuts in Class 2A Top 10 poll

Off to a 4-0 start this season, the Alto Yellowjackets made their Class 2A poll debut on Monday.

The Jackets, who are under the direction of Ricky Meeks, are slotted at number 10.

Alto owns wins over Palestine Westwood, Timpson, New Diana and Garrison thus far.

The top three teams in the state-wide ranking, all sporting 4-0 worksheets, are Refugio, Shiner and San Saba.

In their latest outing the Yellowjackets thumped Garrison, 26-7.

The Mean Sting will visit Corrigan-Camden (3-1) this week.
