Game Notes — The winner of this game will advance to the playoffs as District 7-4A-II's fourth seed, so there is a lot at stake for two teams that have not had the season that they had hoped for...Both teams lost last week and should be hungry for a win...Canton's defense has allowed 53 points a game in conference play while the Panthers' “D” has been surrendering only 27.6 points a game...Bullard looks to have the advantage on paper, but it probably will boil down to the team that wants to be playing post season football more will end up reaching its goal.

Game Notes — Separated by just seven miles geographically, these two long-time adversaries will tee it up again in Troup on Friday...Troup will head to the playoffs as the second place club out of District 10-3A-II, regardless of what happens on Friday...Mathematically, Arp is battling Grand Saline and Winona for third/fourth place...Grand Saline is at league-leading Harmony this week...Look for a strong effort from Arp...Troup's offense is averaging 44 points a game in district and should put Arp's defense to the test...Defensively, Arp is formidable, having allowed just 21 points on average to its district foes...Anything can happen in this one.
Brook Hill Guard vs. TCA-Cedar Hill Tigers

Game Notes — TCA has won 18 games in a row. The last time the Tigers lost was on Sept. 22, 2017 when Brock walloped the Tigers 57-21...The Tigers are the defending TAPPS Division II state champions...TCA has sewed up first place and Dallas Christian will be the circuit's second place squad...The Guard are in a dog fight with Grace Community and T.K. Gorman for the third and fourth spots. Brook Hill, for all intents and purposes, will need a win Friday to avoid seeing its season come to an end.
Alto Yellowjackets vs. Union Grove Lions

Game Notes — Alto has already nailed down the District 10-2A runner-up spot; nevertheless a win in the regular season finale could boost the Yellowjackets' confidence as they head into bi-district play next week...The Lions, who opened the season by going 5-0, have been eliminated from the playoff picture and are playing for pride.
