For the second year in-a-row Jacksonville High School will be hosting a three-day soccer showcase.
Action is scheduled to get under way on Thursday, with all varsity matches slated to take place at the Historic Tomato Bowl. The junior varsity division will be played at Howard Cook Field on the high school campus.
Jacksonville and Center will open the showcase with an 8:30 a.m. match on Thursday.
New Summerfield will go up against Marshall at 5:15 and Bullard and Lindale will do battle in the final match of the day, which is set for 7 p.m.
In between those matches, Whitehouse will face Sabine at 10:15 a.m., at noon Marshall will play Henderson, Center and Lindale will take to the pitch at 1:45 p.m., followed by a 3:30 p.m. affair featuring Nacogdoches and Kilgore.
On Friday, the Tribe and Kilgore will go at it at 10:15 a.m., with Bullard and New Summerfield scheduled to play at 8:30 a.m.
At 8:30 a.m. Saturday Jacksonville will test the Cardinals from Sabine, with Bullard and Kilgore slated to go at it at 10:15 a.m.
New Summerfield's final match will start at 1:45 p.m. and will be against the Nacogdoches Dragons.
After a 4-0 shutout win over Henderson on Dec. 20, the Tribe will take a 2-0 record into play on Thursday.
