Jacksonville's Alexis Calderon appeared to be in mid-season form on Saturday afternoon; even though it was the Fightin' Maidens first game of the 2019-20 campaign.
Calderon exploded for 24 points to help send Jacksonville to a 51-13 victory over Longview.
The game was played inside the John Alexander Gymnasium.
Jacksonville played well defensively, holding the Lady Lobos to single digits in each quarter and to just four points in the second half.
Grace Abercrombie and Ka'Lessia Anderson knocked in nine points apiece and Tyshera Gipson chipped in eight.
The Fightin' Maidens are slated to host Lufkin Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
