Jacksonville High School senior wide out Chris Carpenter has earned the Play of the Game award, which is sponsored by Congratulations.
The Colorado commit had a game to remember in the Indians' 49-48 win over Palestine on Friday.
The Play of the Game, which is determined by the Fightin' Indian broadcast team, came on a 4th down and 14 from the Palestine 15-yard line.
Quarterback Patrick Clater tossed a quick pass to Aaron Richardson, who then flipped the ball to a hard-charging Carpenter, who completed the hook and ladder by scoring a touchdown with 4:33 to go in the third period.
For the night Carpenter had 11 grabs for 260 yards and two touchdowns.
Not a bad night's work.
