JACKSONVILLE FIGHTIN' INDIAN BASKETBALL CAMP

The Jacksonville Fightin' Indians Basketball Camp will take place on July 1-3 (Session I) and July 5-6 (Session II), according to Tribe head basketball coach Mark Alexander.

Session I is a skills camp, with the final session being designed to focus on shooting.

The sign-up fee for one session is $30, or a child may attend both camps for $50.

A $5 off per child discount is being offered to kids living in the same household.

Those entering the 2nd-9th grades in the fall are eligible to take part in the camp.

Camp will take place from 9-11 a.m. at John Alexander Gymnasium.

Members of the JISD basketball coaching staff and former players will serve as camp instructors.

Campers are urged to wear shorts and a shirt suitable for basketball and to bring water or a sports drink.
