The No. 8-ranked and undefeated (10-0) Yellowjackets of Alto will get the high school football post season parade started for area teams.
Alto, the District 10-2A-I champs will face Cayuga (4-6), the fourth place out of District 9-2A-I at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Historic Tomato Bowl in Jacksonville.
Head coach Ricky Meeks' Mean Sting will be the visiting team.
On Friday Rusk (3-7), the District 7-4A-II runner up, will battle Salado's Eagles at 7:30 p.m. at Corsicana's Tiger Stadium.
That affair will be a Class 4A-II, Region III bi-district contest.
Salado finished in third place in District 8-4A-II and owns a 7-3 worksheet.
Bullard (3-7) will travel to Longhorn Stadium in Cedar Hill to engage Mexia, the District 8-4A-II runner up.
The game will get under way at 7:30 p.m.
The Panthers finished in third place in District 7-4A-II.
City Bank Stadium in Forney will be the site for Troup's Class 3A-II, Region II, bi-district affair against Leonard.
That game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Troup (6-4) came in third in District 10-3A-II, while Leonard (6-4) is the District 9-3A-II runner up.
Troup will carry a five game winning streak into play on Friday.
The Brook Hill Guard (7-3) will travel to Frisco for a 7:30 p.m. Friday skirmish with Frisco Legacy Christian (7-3) in a TAPPS Division II playoff opener.
All bi-district winners will advance to the Area round late next week.
